Franklin Miller offers a full line of inline grinders configured to meet any application requirement. Our versatile inline grinders are designed for low headloss, high flow, and heavy solid application. These versatile processors reduce rags, plastics, wood, tampons, sanitary napkins, sanitary wipes and more. They are invaluable in plant operations worldwide, keeping systems flowing, reducing pump downtime, and protecting dewatering equipment such as centrifuges, filter presses and more.
With our innovative hollow spherical rotor SUPER SHREDDER® and our TASKMASTER® twin-shaft grinders, we have processors tailored to your specific process needs that can improve the reliability, life, and performance of your pumps, centrifuges, digestors, and other process equipment.
The Franklin Miller SUPER SHREDDER® and TASKMASTER® have a long history of improving the efficiency and reliability of lines. Franklin Miller grinders are known for their heavy-duty capabilities and innovative designs with models available for a variety of application requirement.
The SUPER SHREDDER® is an in-line grinder designed to reduce tough wastewater solids into fine particles. This inline grinder features a unique high-flow, spherical rotor design, which allows for high capacity processing with minimal headloss. Its design makes it virtually invisible to flow due to its high open area percentage. The SUPER SHREDDER operates at a low speed and high torque, chopping, grinding, and shredding solids into fine bits for easy processing by downstream equipment. Its open-center spherical rotor design handles higher flows than any other inline grinder, and its cutting edges work in a scissor-like action to finely reduce solids, including irregularly shaped objects. This system can be easily installed in straight-through pipe systems and is used to reduce a variety of solids like wood, rags, sludge, wipes, paper, plastics, and more, preventing damage to pumps, valves, and other equipment.
A wood pallet shredder is a specialized machine that breaks down wooden pallets into smaller pieces. It uses powerful blades and rotors to shred the wood quickly and effectively, making disposal or recycling of the pallets easier.
Wood pallet shredders assist businesses in managing waste more efficiently by reducing the size and volume of discarded pallets and lowering the cost of waste removal. The shredded wood can be repurposed as mulch, bedding, or even fuel, contributing to both waste management and sustainability.
Franklin Miller offers two models of wood pallet shredders, the TASKMASTER® XL and the TASKMASTER® TM3000. These machines are built to be durable and efficient, handling large volumes with ease, so businesses can choose a model that meets their specific needs.
Choosing the right shredder depends on how many pallets you need to process, the desired output size, and what you intend to do with the shredded material. Franklin Miller offers guidance to help businesses select a shredder that aligns with their needs and goals.
Routine maintenance for a wood pallet shredder typically involves inspecting the blades for wear, lubricating moving parts, and checking the machine for any signs of damage. Regular care keeps the shredder running smoothly and extends its lifespan. Franklin Miller’s service personnel are available to make field visits to assess the operation of your equipment. Equipment can also be sent back to our factory for a full evaluation and rebuild.
The price of a wood pallet shredder can vary widely depending on the model and its features. Franklin Miller offers customized pricing based on each business's specific requirements and can provide a consultation to help determine the most cost-effective option.
