The PIPELINE DELUMPER® Crushes it!

The PIPELINE DELUMPER® is a powerful inline processor that crushes, disperses and suspends tough solids in fully enclosed pipe systems. The SCREENMASTER® CS Versatile Bar Screen

The SCREENMASTER® CS provides efficient cleaning of a bar screen rack and removal of solids from rectangular channel installations. This versatile unit employs a simple, yet effective rotary front clean/front return raking mechanism. It installs at a 75° inclination so it has a very small footprint. This streamlined unit is fully enclosed above the water line. The SCREENMASTER CS bar screen provides smooth quiet operation and is highly reliable. It employs rake heads that penetrate the screen slots as they reach the channel bottom and lift accumulated debris up to a discharge height of up to 38 ft (11.6 m) from the channel bottom. The screenings drop out the unit’s discharge chute and into a SPIRALIFT® SC Screenings conditioner/washer or into a bin or auxiliary conveyor. The SCREENMASTER bar screen is fabricated in stainless steel including the unit’s oversized drive chains. Unlike other screens, the SCREENMASTER’s design employs no bottom bearings or sprockets thereby eliminating a major cause of maintenance problems. The SCREENMASTER CS bar screen is available with a choice of slots openings from 2 inch down to 1/4″. They are available for any channel width up to 78” wide (2 m).

Fine Screening of Heavy Institutional Effluent The SPIRALIFT® SLX is a heavy-duty system specifically built for screening of heavy prison and institutional wastewater effluent. This powerful system effectively handles large, concentrated solids including clothing, sneakers, sheets, blankets, wood and other debris too large for standard-duty systems to handle. SPIRALIFT SLX screens, wash, convey and compact even large solids in one integrated, easy to install system. This unit features a heavy TASKMASTER®TM1600 15HP shredder coupled with an over-sized channel screen. The TASKMASTER shreds the solids which are then captured on a fine screen and intensively washed. As the solids are conveyed up the transport, free water drains back into the channel. The solids are discharged into a bin or conveyor.

Taskmaster® Inline Grinders

TASKMASTER® Inline Grinders employ a powerful twin-shaft mechanism to reduce solids in sludge, slurry and sewage pipelines. These versatile processors reduce such materials as rags, plastics, wood, debris, tampons, sanitary napkins and more. They are invaluable in plant operations worldwide keeping pipelines flowing, reducing pump downtime and protecting dewatering equipment such as centrifuges, filter presses and more. These grinders are available for pipe sizes from 4″ through 30″ pipe sizes. TM8500 SERIES The TASKMASTER TM8500 series inline grinders feature a drop-in housing for easy maintenance, 2″ hex shafts, heavy-duty mechanical seals with tungsten carbide seal faces and CUTTER CARTRIDGE® technology. With TASKMASTER cutter cartridges, individual cutters and spacers are replaced by rugged one-piece elements that incorporate 6 cutters and 6 spacers for less components, no stack loosening and the elimination of cutter stack retightening (required by competing units). These units are made for pipe sizes from 4″ through 10″. TM1600 SERIES TASKMASTER TM1600 series grinders are heavy-duty inline disintegrators built for 12″ ANSI flanged systems and larger. These rugged processors are ideal for high flow rates and extremely heavy institutional solids. These units feature 2-3/4″ hexagonal shafting, up to 20HP motor and drive, a variety of cutter profiles and much more. They are available for 12″ – 18″ pipe sizes in carbon as well as stainless steel construction. Each grinder comes standard with our PLC-based S260 program control system. Taskmaster TT The TASKMASTER TT twin shaft grinder features an integrated tramp trap housing. This unit was specially designed for septage receiving and waste handlers where occasional rocks and other heavy objects get into the flow. Built with a heavily constructed extended housing, the TASKMASTER TT housing features a trap area designed to allow heavy tramp materials to settle out. This provides protection not only for the grinder itself, but for downstream equipment as well. The unit is provided with a slide gate for easy unloading of accumulated debris.

TASKMASTER® Industrial Shredders Help Protect Privacy

Lost or stolen computer media puts millions of individuals’ privacy at risk. TASKMASTER® shredders are playing a major role in the proper disposal of computers, drives and media. For a large volume of hard drives and backup tapes, a 75 HP TASKMASTER® Industrial Shredder Model TM3042 has proven a rugged workhorse. This unit features 7 inch diameter shafts and hardened alloy cutters. It destroys up to 2 hard drives per second and a vast quantity of tapes instantly. The safe destruction and disposal of a growing stream of electronic scrap and computer storage media is now a major recycling priority in the United States and many other countries. In the US alone, according to National Safety Council, more than 5,000,000 PCs will be relegated to the scrap heap in 2007. A major problem is that those PCs are loaded with confidential data such as names, accounts, social security numbers, tax returns and more. Deleting of files on the disks as well as backup tapes or reformatting of disks offers little or no protection either. Nor does actually drilling holes in the hard drives. The data is often easily accessible with readily available data recovery software. Companies now have to contend with a host of government regulations including the Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach, HIPAA and FACTA. Data security is a major problem for corporations. In response, they are stockpiling their old discarded computers using up expensive storage space. Companies are also increasingly reluctant to donate their old computers to charities because of the expense and risk involved. These companies provide complete shredding of the storage media either disk or tape as the ultimate solution for the problem. The small scraps discharged by the shredders are then melted down for plastic or metals recovery. While complete shredding of these devices is a critical part of the data destruction process, the availability of shredders, up to this task of dependably and completely destroying these components, was very limited. One company had to go overseas to have a special shredding device custom made. The problem is that many of these electronic components are extremely tough and quickly destroy most common shredders.
