Product Overview
These TITAN disks have a much larger diameter than the first stack providing the unit with higher capacity and more cutting surfaces. Yet another benefit of the TASKMASTER® TITAN is CUTTER CARTRIDGE® technology. The TASKMASTER® TITAN design is ideal for channel applications where high capacity, unsurpassed grinding performance and reliability are paramount.
This unit features: full-cut grinding, superior feeding of large, bulky or round objects, efficient power usage, simple construction and an automatic reversing controller. The TASKMASTER® TITAN is available in several models: TM14000, TM20000 and the TM22000 in Standard and Duplex configurations.
Full-Cut grinders offer 100% cutting! The cutters handle the full flow capacity required without the need for auxiliary diverter screens. The result is fewer moving parts, more reliable cutting and greater durability.
Customize this product for your application
The TASKMASTER TITAN features a "full cut" design. Our TITAN cutters have over twice the cutting surface area. With more cutter, there's less wear so your cutters stay sharper longer. Because their a larger "nip" (distance between cutter centers) it can handle larger objects and has better solids feeding too!
Intermeshing with the TITAN® cutters are our unique cutters designed with CUTTER CARTRIDGE Technology. These monolithic elements replace thin individual cutter and spacer disks resulting in a drastic increase in cutter strength and the elimination of cracking and stack collapse.
With the TITAN's unique design, cutter cartridges intermesh with a second much larger cutter. Therefore, a high percentage of open area is achieved so it handle higher flow rates than conventional twin shaft grinders. Plus, energy use in minimized for reduced operating costs.
The TITAN features a highly dependable cartridge design bearing/seal system. The mechanical seals feature tungsten carbide faces and no springs which can become contaminated. The housing is constructed of hardened stainless steel for both corrosion and wear resistance.
The TITAN is provided for submerged applications with a true IP68 Explosion Proof Submersible Motor. This optional motor is a no compromise solution that is rated to run continuously while submerged as well as in air. These motors are supplied with UL or alternately ATEX certifications.
