SPIRALIFT SI

The SPIRALIFT® SI is an inline screening system for wastewater and other liquid entrained solids. This unit is simple in design, reliable and low maintenance. It employs a shaftless screw screen that effectively removes captured solids from the liquid flow. The unit also washes, deodorizes and conveys solids to a convenient discharge point.

Description

The SPIRALIFT® SI screw screen is housed in a fully enclosed stainless steel tank. It is easy to install to pipelines via standard ANSI flanges. As the unit is self-contained, installation is simple with no need for a concrete channel. The SI is equipped with a built-in spray wash system that cleans the captured solids. as well as a compactor located near the unit discharge. The tank enclosure is supplied with a safety interlocked hinged cover for quick access to the unit interior.

Options

An S270 Automatic Control System monitors and controls system operation. This PLC based controller is provided standard in a NEMA 4X FRP enclosure. System functions include sequence timing, jam sensing and jogging function, level sensing run control and spray-wash solenoid control.

Brushes

The SPIRALIFT SI employs rugged segmented nylon brushes attached to the perimeter of the auger which clear the solids collected on the unit’s screen basket. The brushes are individually replaceable with supplied stainless steel fasteners.
